Back in 2002 my daughter and I trekked the Anapurna Trail with some of the rest of our family. We met up with Prem Rai along the way. She had a client at the time, but we trekked along with her. I was most impressed by her knowledge of the area, and her relationship with both fellow trekkers, guides, and the people who owned the tea houses. I was impressed by her knowledge of the area, her fluent English, her passion for her job, and her love of family. I would highly recommend her as a guide and would hire her if/when I return to Nepal to hike.
